A foster boy's ill fated relationship with his parents.

For The Others:

Monday I achieved nothing.

No new thoughts, no new friends, no accomplishments

Only a frustrated set of parents who couldn’t, wouldn’t believe in me


Tuesday I ran away

My heart unsure, my legs unsteady, my soul in desperate need to escape

My past ready to be unknown once more


Wednesday the news reported my missing

Claiming they wanted me back

But they were just hunters without prey


Thursday my emotions, my thoughts and ideas ran wild

I lived for myself and no one else

Open skies and winding roads welcomed my company


Friday reality was my defeat

That in fact my departure was their victory

There would be more that would suffer under their roof


Saturday I freed the unborn others

In the middle of the night with two quick cuts

They would never raise another


Sunday I freed myself and discovered
