Real Love Never Dies

You have left me in a whisper,
in a glance among the daisies.

But I have stored your essence.
Spirit of your soul, wandering lazy.
In its idleness it floats above
my hurt and my pain.
It dances with the angels now
and sings in sweet refrain.
A globe of burning amber
fills the sky upon each morning rise.
Is it you my dear, to wipe my tears
wearing a black robe in disguise?
I have not to fear that your embodiment
shall never again resume.
Because my dear I have you near
since your spirit left its tomb.
You take my hand to soothe me
in my saddened state of sorrow,
and tell that you'll wait for me,
behind the emerald laurels.
