One can not fly with weighed down wings and through misdeads one can not sing!

After a week the dust settles in the mist,
not so much as a wind blown kiss!

You occupy space with empty words.
I fear my dear this love is for the birds!
For awhile I'll be a house sparrow,
while you fly straight and in the narrow.
I hope these new things give you flight,
and that you'll fly into a raven knight.
Yes, I've known you've a broken wing.
Humming bird hums yet can not sing.
Listless still beneath a hollow quill.
Drunk from filling up his leather bill.
Plunged too deep into muddy water.
Stole a fish from the fisherman's daughter.
After he ate it he got deathly sick.
And he blamed it all on a baby chick!
A little gosling that happened to hatch,
and stuck to his feathers profoundly attached.
But with her there he could not fly.
If she stayed attached they both would die!
Just too heavy was her weight........
even so, eat a little crow; next time fly STRAIGHT!
