I lean on you.
You lean on me.
We both lean under
a fruit bearing tree.
When I'm hungry I take
fruit from its branches.
You hunger too, so I hope
you take your chances!
Remember there's enough
to always go around.
Unpicked, it shall rot
then fall to the ground!
You need not feel guilty
for taking a taste.
Why, it was meant to be
plucked and eaten,
not rotted from waste!
Why not enjoy what was
put forth for you?
Man will continue to hunger
when his mind goes askew.
Does he not see what God
has put there?
Why do men starve when
their table has fare?
