What can you do when the love is draining out from your love life?

How can I draw you into the light
so that you can be free?

You're enclosed in the dark so tight.
It's all around you;
weighing you down heavily.
These restraints retard,
as they bind you within.
They are nothing but shackles
you wear underneath your skin.

How do I get to the parts?
Parts you protect deep inside.
In the cold, in the dark, a desolate heart
stands alone on the outside.
Isn't it such a lonely place to be?
To dwell in your pain that pushes
you further away from me?
I'm breaking down the doors
just to get in.
I can see through the holes.
The splinters are acting like pins.

How can I follow you down?
You've scattered your bones.
I can't pick you up off the ground.
I know you'd so like to climb
inside of my womb.
But sadly you're encrypted
deep, dark ensconced in your tomb.

How do you live? In burial chambers befell.
Your spririt abandoned you.
Your wretched soul has run off in hell.
I weep and I mourn for what can not be.
As sure as God is day your past is a slave.
One you must totally obey.
So what can I do but lie next to the grave.
