Though the darkness haunts you the ligt it will undaunt you.

Night comes upon you
Stealthily stalking
Furtive footsteps moving through
Wavering as they're walking
God-fearing the full moon
Pale, wan, ashen chalking
To which you are not immune
Its eyes set on you like a hawk
Petrifies with these hollow eyes
Nightly as it stalks
Do not restle it; be thee wise
For it shall eat you as a croc
It's misshapen in its guise
But it shall hold you in its lock
Dreadful, dark and cold
The stalker comes
Quite bold
The monotony of its drums
And the tightness of its hold
Leaves you feeling numb
Takes your spirit, soul
Bless thee for the light of day
That takes the stalker
Far away
The scorching sun a shocker
It shall! Must have its say!
Morning burns through the night stalker
It comes at its dismay
