Appreciate what you have.....for some day it will only be a memory.

The wind is sending whispers.
She's as pliant as a willow.

Her hair, tickling like cat whiskers,
soft and downy on your pillow.

You lay there restless dreaming.
Windows open, blankets shed.
A stream of light is gleaming
from the moon upon your bed.

Oh isn't this heaven!
Even if it's but a dream.
You're rising up like leaven,
floating on a cloud, or so it seems.

Something's stirring out your window,
crickets chirping in the night.
Those little rascals innuendo!
Implying you should be dancing in moonlight.

Startled from your reverie,
you clutch your soaking bed.
She's only now a memory
that's residing in your head.
