Some men think their superman until they try to fly and don't know how to land!

So this independence going it alone
on your own.
So you don't let anyone see the pain,
how vain.

Swallow it down,
every frigging little hurt.
Turn it around,
how quickly you divert.
You're superman.
Why don't they understand?

So you don't take a partner to your bed;
you fuck free.
So who are you? James Bond or James Dean?
Yeah, I know that's mean.

Swallow it down,
every frigging little hurt.
Turn it around,
how quickly you divert.
You're superman.
Why don't they understand?

So the ambulance takes you away.
But you're OK.
So you can bounce back from anything,
a broken heart can bring.

Swallow it down,
every frigging little hurt.
Turn it around,
how quickly you divert.
You're superman.
Why don't they understand?
