A frustated student is misguided by a new friend. When a person says you that he wants to be your friend? what you do? You accept is approval or deny it? Do you ever thought what his intentions are? You should when some unknown person asks you for friendship.

It was afternoon. Rahul was returning home from the school. It has been a tough day for him. First he was scolded for his incomplete homework, then the principal of the school called his parents about his low grades in the semester. It has been a routine for him to get scolded, first in school and if he is unlucky more, he also get scolded at home. Today was the same unlucky day. He was upset about it. He can't handle this anymore. It would be nice if he left the school. He didn't wanted to go home today. It was a half an hour walk from his school to his home. If you take a shortcut from a near by mountain you can save atleast 10 minutes. Rahul was coming from that way. There was a railway track layed there and he had to cross it every time he took the shortcut. Today he was not aware and started to cross the tracks without noticing an upcoming train. "Hey You!" Rahul heard a shout. He saw here and there. There was a boy sitting on a near by bench. "Stop." The boy shouted and pointed towards the upcoming train. Rahul moved back, in time. He took a sigh of releif as the train passed. Rahul came near the bench. "Thanks, you saved my life." "Next time, be aware." The boy said. "Whats your name? Mine is Rahul." "My name...." The boy stopped. He stood up and started walking beside the tracks. Rahul felt strange. Is he had asked a wrong question or what? Did he hurt him? Nobody gets hurt if somebody ask him his name. Rahul watched tht boy untill he disappeared in a forest ahead. He then realized he was late for his home and started walking towards his home. The whole day Rahul thought of the boy. Why he was sitting there alone. Why didn't he told him his name? Was he a criminal or a murderer. Rahul got scared. Then he memorised the looks of the boy, he hardly would be 3-4 years older than him. He can't be a criminal, his face was innocent. Next morning, Rahul again saw the boy sitting there at the bench. He had to ask him why he didn't told him his name yesterday. "Why didn't you told me your name yesterday." "I will tell you my name only on one condition, you will have to become my friend." There was a smile on his face. "My name is Rahul." Rahul said. "My name was Daksh." The boy said. "So, which school do you go?" Rahul asked because he looked like a school going student but he was not in his uniform. "I don't go to school, anymore." Daksh said. "You are so lucky." Rahul told the truth. There was a smile on Daksh's face. And a reflective smile on Rahul's face. Days passed and both of them became best friends. Rahul told everything about his school, how much he hated studies, how much he loved games. But Daksh never told him about anything. They were friends but he never choosed a topic to show his interests on. Friendship grew deeper day by day. Rahul started bunking the school. One day, Rahul said to Daksh," I don't want to go to school. I also don't want to go home also. I want to remain here, on this bench." Daksh looked at him,"You really want to stay here." Rahul nodded in yes. Daksh holded Rahul's hand and said,"Close your eyes. And come with me." Rahul followed him. They were walking downn on some stones Rahul realised that. While walking Rahul heard a train horn. He realised that they would be walking along the tracks. The voice was now more clear than before. Rahul tried to open his eyes but he can't. He stopped. "Trust me." Daksh said. Rahul again started walking. Now he could feel the vibrations near the tracks. He could feel something coming towards him. Again this time he heard the horn. He stopped again, he was scared. And then suddenly, something hit him.The voice of the horn deconstructed and diffused in the air but the sound was still in his mind. "Open your eyes." He heard Daksh's voice. Rahul opened his eyes. Daksh was no where. He was sitting on the bench alone. He got scared. He wanyed to go home now. He don't want to be alone. He stood up, rather he tried. But he can't. He watched his legs for a momment and then again he tried to stand up, but this time also he failed. He was confused, what had happened to him? Why he can't leave the bench. He tried through different places of the bench. He couldn't. He cried for help. Nobody came. He was alone. He cried, cried for his mother, cried for his father. Cried for himself. Days passed, nights passed, weeks passed. He sat there. Nobody came for his cries. The person who passes by can't hear him, can't see him.He thought was he dead, no he was alive he should be. But how? he didn't drank water or ate for weeks. But he still had beleif in fate. Fate that would bring his parents to him. He would talk with them. He hadn't talked with himself for weeks. "Are you all right." A voice came. Rahul opened his eyes, he was sleeping. He saw a boy standing near him. "I have been passing by since a week. You always seemed to be sitting here." "No, I am not fine." Rahul was searching for the words. "Where do you live? Whats your name?" Rahul felt that he can now stand. He stood up. He took a step. One more. Then another one. He started jogging. Then he ranned, ranned towards his home. His mother would be waiting for him. His father would still be looking for him. He reached home. His mother was sitting in the garden. He walked towards her. "Mo..Mother." She didn't replied. "Mother its me, I came back." She still didn't replied. Tears through his eyes came to his cheeks. He was nothing more than a silence to this world. He couldn't stand there anymore. He came back to the bench where it all started. He waited for the next day. He didn't cried that night, he had lot. If no one can give him back what he lost? He had to do something. Next day the boy who came up yesterday came again. "You are still here. Why do you always sit here?" Rahul smiled,"I will tell you why i sit here all the time but first you have to do freindship with me." and forwarded his hand for handshake. Both shaked hands. "I am Abhinav." "I was Rahul."
