as i drift off
i do it with a smile
because i know i'll see you
in just a little while
you're always there
every single night
it's like it's your home
it just feels so right
you're the reason
that i love to sleep
you're the one
my dreams you keep
i love seeing you there
sitting in my mind
the most beautiful thing
my eyes can find
i long to be with you
ouside of my sleep
but i know it won't happen
and it makes me weep
but as long as i have you
here in my dreams
it's not as bad
as reality seems
so now as i drift off
i do it with a smile
because i'll see you my love
in just a little while...

omw this is amazing!!! ik dreams can be hard when you have to go back reality but when you have dreams that makes you feel like this it makes it all worth it :)
