Sitting calm and still,
Lounged upon the window sill,
A bird, he sits, the other sleeps,
She dreams of him, he's hers to keep.

Then stay there often,
On the ledge,
They save each other,
From falling off edge.

Can their love exhist in a world so cruel?
Where hate has all the power to rule
It all, as it is so strong,
Even though it may be wrong.

The birds they feel no hate, just fear,
Scared are they, for all they hear,
Is pain and anger among the trees,
So what trying times are these.

So they instead,
Sit in their ledge,
Sit calm and still,
On the window sill.
