I wrote this while painstakingly writing a 20 page research paper and staying up all night. In my delusional tired state I managed to scribble out a few lines.

"Each day is a little life: every waking and rising a little birth, every fresh morning a little youth, every going to rest and sleep a little death." ~Arthur Schopenhauer

Embrace me in the fountain of youth

To satisfy that gnawing need for truth

Play me a song and lull me to sleep

So I can float away upon this cloud

Drifting past without a sound

Into dreams and ecstasy.
