He watched her intently as she made her usual journey through the park. This is where they always met. Beautiful. Beautiful was the only word to describe her. Everything about her was just stunning. Her personallity, the way she dressed, her features. Everything so sophisticated and beautiful.

She strolled over to him, her head held high showing she took pride in her appearance. The wind caught her hair blowing it across her face. She laughed lightly as she tucked her hair behind her dainty ears. The way the sun shone on it made it look like silk, making it hard not to reach out and stroke it. She smiled again when she finally reached him, showing a perfect row of pearly white teeth. Her smile was breathtaking. He smiled back gazing intently up at her in awe. He stood up looking sheepish, feeling embarrassed for staring. He embraced her in a warm hug as he rested his chin on top of her head. The scent of her hair was unique. Nothing could ever come close to her smell. The light scent of apples and sweet perfume. His favourite perfume. He placed his hands on her shoulder and stretched out his arms, gazing into her emerald eyes. He shifted his eyes from hers down to her mouth.  A soft rose pink lipgloss enhance her lips. He wanted to remeber every detail about her.

He craved her touch. Just for her fingertips to touch his skin. He placed a finger under her chin and tiltled her head softly up towards his. Slowly leaning in he places his lips on hers sending warmth throughout his whole body. They moved in sync and finished with a light peck. It's amazing how a simple sign of affection can mean so much. He placed his forehead against hers letting the tips of their noses press against eachother. He smiles and take her hand hin his finally satisfying his crave for her touch. If only he could stop and paint a picture, capture honest, pure affection. Just to document the difference between attraction and connection.

They continued walking through the park in blissful silence. they didn't need to talk. They felt comfortable in eachothers comany. Every now and then he would just look at her, appreciating the fact that he had someone so wonderful in his life and he knew she left the same. He could feel the warmth of the sun on his face giving hers a light glow. He feels her fingertips leave his hand, the warmth that was once there suddenly gone. A slight frown crossed his face but soon faded once he turned around and looked at her.  She was standing before him, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips as she stared back at him. The love and admoration burning in her eyes. Her skin was flawless. Porcelain with a slight tint of red on her cheeks. She tilted her head back raising her hands into the air, giggling softly to herself. This time he focused on her dress, the light fabric swaying from side to side. The white and saphhire blue lace making her eyes pop.

She walks over to him placing a hand on his shoulder and the other on his arm, giving him a light peck on his thin lips.  She teasingly pushed him back knowing that he would want that physical contact to last longer. She turned on her heel and skipped into the surrounding woods, her dress bouncing behind her. She would glance back every now and then to see if he would follow. Instead he stood there captivated by her beauty. There was a smell of moss and dirt that welcomed him into the woods. He smiled remembering how lucky he was. He walked slowly behind her as he watched her long brown hair bounce off her shoulders. When he finally reached her he stretched out his hand, craving her touch again. She let her fingertips slide across his palm leaving a tickling sensation.  He glanced down scratching his sweaty palm. As he stood still he  took in his surroundings. The light poured in through the trees leaving a dotted effect on the moss clovered flood. He too a deep breath in through his nose and placed his hand on the rough bark of the tree and let his palm slide down.

He heard a high pitched scream come from close by. It sounded familiar. His body went cold when he heard that the scream was cut short. His breath caught in his throat, heart pounding rapidly in his chest as it sunk into his stomach. He ran to her side but it was too late. What followed only took a moment but for him, it would last a lifetime.
