Another day you wake
Except love is in the air
So you put on a smile and fake
That today you actually care
You see couples all about
With their goo-goo eyes
It almost makes you wanna shout,
but then settle for a sigh
Then comes gifts of roses, chocolates and flowers
My stomach starts to churn
Too much love is being showered
And my heart begins to yearn
The day bursts with happiness,
but when you are alone
You can't bare to watch the sappiness
It all just makes you groan
So for me Valentines Day
Is just another day that fades
With cheesy lines that make you gag
And guys that just wanna get laid
So love bites
And screw Valentines, I'd rather just buy some tights
