Why I want to be a doctor.
- I remember those days when my grandfather was sick. I don't really know why he was sick beacuse I was pretty young back then. I think I was around 4. My parents kindly took the responsibilities
of caring for my grandfather. My grandmother had passed away that time. I never met her. So, there were endless trips to the hospital. The journey from our house to the hospital take like 40 to 50
minutes time. Even longer, during peak hours. I have to admit, that it was very tiring having to travel from our house to the hospital. Sometimes, we have to wake up as early as 4 am to
go visit my late grandfather and sometimes we have to overnight at the hospital. But no matter how tired I was, the hospital never fails to make me happy. It was not because of
the candies I got from my trips to the hospital. Neither because of the little fish pond they built. I can't explain it but the nurse, doctors and the staff there always fascinates me. My mum
said that anyone who wants to be part of the medical team have to do their work kindly, sincerely and with much love. So, I always look up to the medical staff as a kid. I think since then, I
ambitiously want to be a doctor. Many other kids regard the hospital as a scary place with all the sick people and scary doctors. But for me, the hospital has bring me so much happiness and love. I
am so much grateful that my parents have took the responsibilities to take care of my grandfather cause if not I will never have the interest of becoming a doctor and I will never learn the love of
caring for your parents. I have a great deal of respect for their willingness to sacrifice their money, time and energy to take care of my grandfather. I hope that one day I will achieve my goal of
becoming a doctor and I will always remember the love that my parents resemble.
