She is always alone

While reaching for a syringe, she caught a sideway glance of herself in the bathroom mirror
Her hair was greasy and had lost it's red glow
large dark circles were beneath her empty eyes, and she was white as a sheet,
The only piece of clothing on her skinny frame was an oversized black T-shirt
reaching just below her buttocks, she wrapped her arms around her body
Trying to protect herself from the cold of the unheated apartment.
She looked over to the bed where her boyfriend was asleep
She knew that he didn't care about her, but she couldn't really care either.
Essentially they were strangers, she knew nothing of his life. and he knew nothing of hers.
