They were sitting next to eachother
He didn't look up from his book as he spoke to her
"We have to talk about it sooner or later, you know"
She didn't look up either
"Why? Why can't we just forget it ever happened?"
He snapped at her in a harsh whisper
"Can you do that? Forget it?"
"I can pretend"
They were both standing now
"What are you saying?"
"That we need to talk"
She walked into her dressing room
Her voice was soft, yet distant, cold and warm at the same time
"There's nothing to say
We can talk about it all night long
but it wouldn't change a thing. I'd still be married"
"You don't think I know that ?!"
"Than what do you want me to do?!"
She turned to face the wall, leaning her forehead against the cold stone wall
His hands were on her shoulders, slowely gliding downwards
to rest on her hips,
his mouth was on her ear,
his tearful whispers breaking her heart
stop being married.
stop going home to him"
"It's not that easy"
He turned her body around in his arms
resting his forehead against hers, tucking her auburn locks behind her ears
"You don't love him"
"I don't wanna hurt him, he's never done anything to me"
"You have to make a choice. either way someone's gonna get hurt"
A single tear escaped her tired eyes
He kissed it away
"Don't you wanna be happy?
Because we both know you're not.
even he knows that"
"You should go"
"I can't wait forever"
but they both knew he would
She picked up her cellphone
His familiar voice sounded in her ear
"Yeah, It's me"
"Are you almost done?"
they had been done with work almost three hours ago
but were to affraid to say goodbye
"Yeah I was just heading home
listen, there's something I need to talk to you about
I've been putting it off for a while now and.."
"Honey, Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. So we'll talk when I get home?"
"Yeah, I love you"
"I gotta go"
