THESE MEMORIES STARTED MY FRESHMAN YEAR, WHEN I ARRIVED AT APTOS HIGH SCHOOL. I WOULD SAY THAT FOR THE FIRST QUARTER AT LEAST, JOSH SULLIVAN MEANT NOTHING TO ME, IF I REMEMBER RIGHT, I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW HIM. IT WASN’T UNTIL HE WENT INTO SKIPPY’S CLASS DID I GET TO KNOW JOSH.

THE FIRST THING I NOTICED ABOUT HIM IS THAT HE WAS RATHER GOOD LOOKING…..

YOU KNOW, I DON’T WANT TO GO OVER THE HISTORY. I’M JUST GONNA GO STRAIGHT TO THE POINT.

JOSH SULLIVAN WAS A SUPER SENIOR WHEN I WAS THERE, I LEARNED TO LOVE HIM.

JOSH OR FRIENDS OF JOSH, PLEASE TELL HIM THAT THE THOUGHT OF HIM HAS YET TO FAIL TO PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE. IF YOU CAN, PLEASE FIND THE SONG I STILL, BY THE BACKSTREET BOYS, AND TELL HIM THAT I WANTED HIM TO HEAR IT.

THERE IS ONE MEMORY IN PARTICULAR I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM RELIVING. IT WAS THAT ONE DREAM LIKE AFTERNOON ON THE TRACK IN SKIPPY’S CLASS.

JOSH WAS SHOWING ME HIS FAVORITE CARTOONS OUT OF A DENNIS THE MENNACE COMIC BOOK.

THE ONE I REMEMBER IS THE ONE WHERE DENNIS IS HOLDING A BASEBALL BAT BEHIND HIS BACK WITH ONE HAND, AND HOLDING A PICKET SIGN THAT SAYS “LOVE THE SINNER NOT THE SIN” WHILE HIS PARENTS DROVE INTO THE LOT LOOKING AT A BASEBALL SIZE HOLE IN THE WINDOW.

I MISS JOSH, AND WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING FOR HIM TO BE HAPPY. I KNOW IT’S STUPID, REALLY. I HAVEN’T SEEN JOSH SINCE THAT ONE TIME HE VISITED COACH ON DECEMBER 8, 2005 DURING 6TH PERIOD, BUT THAT HAD TO BE ONE OF THE BEST PERIODS OF MY LIFE.

JOSH STILL OWNS MY HEART, THOUGH I EXPECT HE HAS FORGOTEN ME. BUT IT DOESN’T MATTER, REALLY, SO LONG AS HE IS HAPPY.

I NEVER TOLD HIM WHAT HE MEANT TO ME, HOW HAPPY HE MADE ME, AND CONTINUE TO MAKES ME. FORGIVE ME, THIS PROBABLY SOUNDS OBSESSIVE, BUT I STILL REMEMBER JOSH’S TRUCK’S COLOR, I THINK EVEN BITS OF THE LISCENSE PLATE.

I JUST WANT HIM TO KNOW THAT THERE’S STILL SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO LOVES HIM, KNOWS HE CAN DO WHATEVER HE PUTS HIS MIND TO DO, AND THAT THERE IS SOMEONE WHO CAN’T BE MORE PROUD OF HIM.
