Walking to work, not a cloud in the sky
Birds singing, breeze blowing, sun shining in my eyes
Now sitting at work I'm daydreaming of you
Alone in bed, sick and feeling blue
With life so short , I should be by your side
Come lunchtime, I'll go home I suddenly decide
Skipping home, I will be with you soon
I get to the door a few hours past noon
Opening it quietly I'll be your surprise
Stunned as I hear your moans and cries
What's wrong my dear
I wonder in despair
Running up the stairs to show I care
Opening the door you are still in bed
Not alone, I see a girl in red
On top of you she is the reason for your cries
Not sick at all, just full of lies
"This is not what it looks like," you nervously say
"Explain it then, and silence my dismay"
"It's been months since we laid, I can no longer wait,
a trip to the bank and she offered it on a plate,"
"You contact your solictor, for we end right now
I am tired and fed up, I have no time for a row"
A quick court session, a lawyer or two
You were in the wrong so no fight from you
Everything I want is mine to take
The smile on my face you naively mistake
For a short reminisce of our previous good times
But little did you know this was my plan for your demise
As I leave the country, your tears never made me blue
You stupid man I have never loved you.
Running off the plane and into her arms
My lady in red with her irresistible charms
Hand in hand we walked away
Happy and content that it had ended this way
