My View on The Apprentice:

This is my opinion on the reality TV show The Apprentice.
The show first aired in 2008 where Alan Sugar (who has now become a lord) was looking for his next apprentice to work for him and has now changed it to looking for his business partner. Alongside him are his trusted aiders Margaret Mountford, Nick Hewer, Karren Brady, and Claude Littner. Karren and Claude have been his aiders since 2011 that assist Lord Sugar to find his potential business partner. Around eighteen candidates are selected to go through the twelve week process by doing ten business related tasks where he fires thirteen candidates. The remaining candidates are interviewed by Claude as well as three other of Lord Sugar’s business associates where the candidates are grilled over their business plans and are asked why Lord Sugar should go into business with them.
In 2017 Lord Sugar couldn’t choose between the two final candidates so decided to make both of them his business partners.
I really enjoyed watching the candidates work with each other. It’s so intense but really exciting at the same time. After watching so many series of The Apprentice including this year’ 2018 series. I found Lord Sugar fires the wrong candidates even if they were the main cause of the failure of the tasks and even after consulting with Claude and Karren he still fires the wrong person. I also find him racist as there are two white candidates and one candidate who aren’t he fires the non-white candidate.
I have been told to apply to go on The Apprentice I’m not very confident in business skills as well as running my own business either so there would be no point in applying!
