My View on the curse of Strictly Come Dancing:

This is my article about the curse of Strictly Come Dancing.
Strictly Come Dancing has been running since 2004. However, over the years many of the celebrities and their Strictly Come Dancing professional partners have gone on to have more than the professional relationship and as a result of this have come under scrutiny. These partners include Ben Cohen and Kristina Rhianoff, Pasha Kovalev and Rachel Riley including this year’s season of 2018 Seann Walsh and Katya Jones. In this year’s season of 2018 the Strictly Come Dancing’s spin off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter Zoe Ball tried to get Seann and Katya to apologise publicly. Most viewers wanted them booted off the show but thankfully the couple was elimated in the Halloween special and were the fifth couple to depart from this year’s series.
On Good Morning Britain choreographer and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips was asked whether she thought Seann and Katya should have been booted off the show and she responded that it was a silly suggestion.
In the Sun newspaper on Thursday 18th October and Friday 19th October 2018 there were articles about the curse of Strictly Come Dancing. The articles states as follows.
STRICTLY AT IT
It’s not just Seann Walsh and Katya Jones — EVERYONE on Strictly is at it except for Rachel Riley’s man Pasha, reveals ex-pro Gleb Sachiko Ex-show dancer Gleb Savchenko, 35, who quit the BBC hit in 2016, has revealed romping is rife on Strictly with many incidents happening away from the cameras.

FORMER Strictly star Gleb Savchenko says that romping is rife on the BBC programme – and claims Pasha Kovalev is the only professional dancer who wouldn’t cheat.
The Russian hunk, 35, who quit the show in 2016 to join the US version, admitted the infamous Strictly curse is real after The Sun revealed Seann Walsh, 32, and married Katya Jones, 29, shared a snog after a night out together — and said there are many more incidents away from the cameras.
Former Strictly star Gleb Savchenko claims romping was rife on the show between the professionals and stars.
In an exclusive interview, he said: “A lot of stuff happens secretly that we don’t know about.
“It’s obvious the dancers have feelings – it’s not necessarily that they want to go and f*** them but a lot of people do.
“It’s normal if you’re single but if you’re not single then OK, you’ve taken that a bit too far.
“I know from the past that these things happen and people get married and even stay together from the curse – it happens.
"We’ve seen Seann and Katya making out outside a bar and if you asked me if I think people like Giovanni and his partner or any of the others are making out when no one is seeing it, I cannot answer that question. It could well be happening. “They may have hooked up even before Seann and Katya.”
And he hinted that the pro dancers have an agreement to keep flings quiet, adding: “Whatever happens on Strictly stays on Strictly, let’s remember that.”
Gleb, who now works on the US version of Dancing with the Stars, also claimed Rachel Riley’s Strictly boyfriend Pasha is the only pro who wouldn’t have an affair on the show.
Is there a Strictly Come Dancing 'curse'? We have a look back
He added: “You know the only person who will never have a Strictly curse is Pasha.
“I think no matter who you give him he will never ever ever have any attraction or anything, not even a flirty moment because he’s such a reserved guy.
“Even with his partner Ashley Roberts, she’s super-cute and super-hot – if you were single you’d definitely hook up with her, but he’s got a girlfriend and there’s no way he’d hook up because he’s also very conservative too.”
And while Katya and Neil Jones have already been hit by the curse, Gleb is adamant the couple will make their relationship work.
“I also had problems in my relationship – me and my wife we were also kind of separated for a few months - I think four years ago and we made it work and you know actually it worked out pretty well. “So I think they’re going to work it out and things happen - everyone is a human being..”

The 29-year-old Aussie called it quits with Emmerdale actor Anthony Quinlan after he grew suspicious over her closeness to TV dance partner Joe Sugg.
Strictly Come Dancing pro Dianne Buswell has been hit by the show’s notorious curse after splitting up with her boyfriend.
A Strictly source said: “Everyone on set’s been discussing how close they’d become. It did not go unnoticed by Anthony.”
The couple, who briefly took a break earlier this year after struggling with the long distance between them decided to end things after 10 months of dating.
Their split came just days after Seann Walsh was spotted kissing his married dance partner Katya Jones.
A source said: “They are quite a fiery pair and have been clashing a bit more than often lately.
A Strictly source said Dianne and Joe Sugg's 'closeness' has become the talk of the set.

“A couple of weeks ago they just decided enough was enough and ended things. It was only a few days after the Katya and Seann pictures emerged.
“There’s not bad blood between them but it looks like a reconciliation is off the cards this time. Last time they split she was really upset but this time around she doesn’t seem that bothered.
“He’s up north and she’s down south and things just weren’t working any more so they’ve knocked it on the head despite being quite serious.
“She’s having a lot of fun with the show at the moment and is enjoying spending time with her dance partner Joe.”

Strictly's Graeme Swann reveals celebs and dancers were furious after Seann Walsh and Katya Jones were caught kissing - and placed on a 'curfew'
Joe and Dianne have had amazing chemistry during their dance routines.
Anthony, who played Gilly Roach in Hollyoaks before his role as Emmerdale’s Pete Barton, previously told pals he was “smitten” with redhead bombshell Dianne.
The couple were introduced by actress Gemma Atkinson, 33, who is dating pro dancer Gorka Marquez, 27, in December after she worked with Anthony on Emmerdale.
Bosses had hoped to sign Anthony for this year’s series and make them the first real-life couple to dance together but ITV bosses would not let him take part.
Yesterday former England spinner Graeme Swann revealed how cheating fellow celebrity Seann Walsh, 32, had failed to see the “funny side” when he teased him about the fall-out from his snog with Katya Jones, 29.
The show source said Dianne's 'having a lot of fun with the show at the moment and is enjoying spending time with her dance partner Joe'
Anthony, who plays Emmerdale’s Pete Barton, previously told pals he was 'smitten' with redhead bombshell Dianne The 39-year-old revealed: “You meet together on a Friday when you do your run-through with the band and stuff, and I really enjoyed it because I’m friends with Seann, so I was the first person he saw when he walked in.
"I was there with a stupid grin on my face laughing at him not at what he’d done but at the situation he’d found himself in all week.”
Graeme said he thought Seann would see “the lighter side of it” because of his job as a comic but added: “He didn’t.”
“I said to him ‘I want to see how awkward the first introductions since the incident are going to be’. I thought he’d find the funny side. He just looked at me and said ‘please don’t mate’ and walked off.”
Swann added: “It was his own fault. You play with fire you’re going to be burnt one day.”
