"You are awesome Angie! I still can't believe you found all that food. I mean where on the earth do you find all that food in the middle of the Atlantic ocean." I said out loud. I looked into Angie's Hershey chocolate eyes and overlooked her tangley brown Hispanic hair. I saw sadness in her face . "What's wrong Angie?" I asked immediately.

"I was looking over the food and I found this." She handed me a small photo. I looked at the tall middle aged man carrying a blue eyed baby in the picture. On his right was a beautiful lady with curly blonde hair and dazzling ocean blue eyes. I could tell this was a family.

"This is their food. Isn't it?" I said realizing the truth. She nodded. "Well we can't do anything now. We can only try to survive and maybe remember them, so no one will forget about them." I said. She looked at me and I remembered how young we really were, but I didn't want to think about it. I just wanted to eat and my selfish side took over and started to pick through the half filled cooler.

The baby blue cooler had three mini water bottles, a gallon of fruit juice, two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and two turkey sandwiches. There was also three jars of baby food and two plums. I was so hungry, but It wasn't like I could sit on the concrete. There was only crystal blue water everywhere. It wasn't that appetizing, when your sandwich is soggy from the salty water. Just when I was going to complain to Angie about not having anywhere to eat, we saw land from afar. There was hope after all. I yelled to Angie, but she saw it already. That's when we stopped everything and started swimming.
