?

Once upon a time in a land that was so awfully far away and yet very near, there was an Elf Princess with pointy ears.?She was arguably the most beautiful princess in her whole family, since her brother, only ‘thought’ he was a girl.?She lived a relatively happy life in her castle but she had never felt there was a gaping void in her life until one tragic day.
??????????? “Mother I do believe it is time for my morning stroll!” The elf princess whined. “I would prefer not to be late, for I might miss my chance to see Sir. Tumblinson”
??????????? “Very well dearest, you may go.” The queen replied. “Guards please accompany Madilinda to the park and keep her safe from harm.”
??????????? “I do not need accompaniment mother, for I am not a child any longer.”
??????????? “The world is not a safe place dearest, and I never liked that elf boy you seem so fond of, so guards you shall have.”
??????????? And with an angry look scarring her somewhat attractive face, elf princess took a stroll with her guards. She sat down on her favorite bench and began looking around the park for her beloved. It was while doing this that she spied a couple doing something that caught her eye.
??????????? “What is it those two are doing over there, and why aren’t they wearing any clothes?” Madilinda asked her guards. A look of surprise came over them as they looked in the direction that the princess was gesturing.
??????????? “Stop that you both!” A guard cried as they charged towards the embracing couple. “You shall be thrown in the dungeon for your public acts of obscenity!”?The guards quickly apprehended the male and female elf and forced their garments upon them.
??????????? “Clayton, what were they doing?”?The princess asked her single remaining guard.
??????????? “It is not my place to tell you princess.” The guard replied. “Though I do remember the days when I was engaging in such activity.” He signed wistfully.
??????????? “Curses!” the princess cried out. “Why will I not be told what they were doing, and why they were doing it without clothes on?”?The princess stormed off back towards her castle.
??????????? “Madilinda, what has gotten you into such a rage?”?The elf queen asked as her hormonal daughter stormed into the room.
??????????? “Mother, a couple of our subjects were arrested while engaging in an activity without their clothes on in the park!?I wish to know what it was they were doing!”
??????????? “Oh dear,” The queen blushed. “I guess I have to give you the talk.”
??????????? “Talk??Mother, what is it you speak of?”
??????????? “You see darling when two people love each other very much they…”
“DONG” As the queen was preparing to explain, a loud bell rang out.
“What is it?”?The queen asked.
“Your majesty!” A solider cried as he burst through the doors, leaving a trail of blood behind.?We are under attack!
“Who would dare?” The queen cried out.?“We are allied with all the other civilized kingdoms, and who uncivilized would have the might to attack us?”
“I know not but this.” The soldier gasped, “Many dead, few surviving, the girl must escape.” At this the soldier breathed his final breath and collapsed upon the floor.
The queen’s eyes grew wide as she shouted,
?“Bar the doors! Archers to the walls!” and as she grabbed Madilinda’s hand and left her necklace in it, she whispered, “Take my necklace and go to your bedroom.?Underneath your bed is a door to a tunnel.?Follow it as far as it leads and you shall find a staircase.?When you reach the top knock twice, pause, then three times.?Remember my love for you. Now go!”
“But mother!” Madilinda cried, “What were the two doing in the park?”
“It does not matter now! Just go!”
“But…” As she was about to complain an attentive guard swept her up and carried her swiftly to her chamber.?He dropped her off in her room.
“Do you know what the people in the park were doing?” the princess asked.
“Well you see they were…augh!” The arrow through the soldier’s neck convinced the princess to quickly lock her door. The startled Madilinda crawled under her bed.?There she found that the carpet could be lifted up revealing a trap door.?Opening it, she quickly slid down into a dark tunnel.?Though she could not see, Madilinda followed the tunnel until she reached a stairway lit with torches.?She climbed the staircase to the top where she found a door.?She knocked twice, paused then knocked three times.
“Ehhh?”?The princess heard a pleasant welcoming voice cry out. “Was that the door?”?
“Of course it was you young beauty! Now open it!” A deeper voice shouted.
“My goodness, I thought the time would never come!” The door opened and the blinded princess stepped into the light.?“Hello deary, what have you come for?” The pleasant attractive voice was accompanied by a beautiful figure.
“My mother told me to come here; she said something about an attack or something.”
“An attack?”?The masculine and powerful voice questioned. “By whom?”
“I don’t know. My mom was about to explain something to me then this all just happened.”
“Well you’re certainly safe with us.” The charming young woman was now visible. “My goodness where are my manners??My name is Tedursela and this is my husband Pauliox.” The fair maiden gestured at the now visible man. “I am a witch, and he is a warlock.”
“You are both very young and attractive.” The princess observed.
“Yes, we are.”?Pauliox piped up. “And we certainly are feisty if you know what I mean!”
“No I don’t.” The princess replied.
“Well you see, when…”
“Goodness! The girls just been through a lot, this is not the sort of conversation to be having now!”
“But I want to know what….”
“No! We must get you far away from here!”?And with that Tedursela began chanting. “Paul is smart, Here we go, Far away, To the land of Joe!”
“What the…? The princess began, as a vortex appeared in the middle of the room.?The princess was dragged inside by the gorgeous witch and dashingly handsome warlock much to her elfish confusion.
“Where are we?” Princess Madilinda asked.
“The land of Joe, where do you think?” replied the handsome and charming warlock. “Didn’t you hear her chant?” The princess looked around and was astounded by what she saw.
“It looks the same.” She said.
“Well, yes,” Tedursela replied. “We were already in the land of Joe.”
“Well then why did you have to chant?”
“Because it’s fun!”
“So why did I have to come here?”
“Ah yes!” the warlock exclaimed. “I had nearly forgotten. Do you have the necklace?”
“Yes I do. But what is it for?” The princess inquired.
“In due time deary.” the young and remarkably insightful witch remarked. “In due time. For now, we must be going.”
“Where?”
“Why to visit the king of course!” exclaimed the masculine warlock.
“Of course…” mumbled the princess.
??????????? So they began their adventure.?First the old witch dressed the princess in an old fur coat made of the skin of a Werecow.
??????????? “This coat will protect you from all danger so long as you wear it.” the witch who was quite a looker told the elfin princess.
??????????? “Really?”
??????????? “No” And so they left the small cottage that they were inside and began their perilous journey towards the castle of the kingdom of the land of Joe.?On the fourth day of their journey which had mostly included a trip to the grocery store and a long walk, they encountered a sign.
??????????? “Therapists Residence. Inquire Inside” the sign read.
??????????? ?“Ah yes our old friend Doctor Hannalore, we went to psychiatrist school together.?Perhaps we should pay a visit.” remarked the young unwrinkled witch.
