I look around and see the faces stare,

Oh my, I see the pain they hide, the shame

They feel inside, to see their empty care

They share, if only there pain could be tame

As always we walk on by, forgetting our lives

Forgetting that we are not the only ones alive

Pretending that everything is fine, there all lies

Just Place a smile, show a grin, just to survive

Will we ever be unmasked, show who we are

The real person we are, what we really feel inside

Will we pretend, just keep hiding this like a scar.

Will we forever be like Jekyll and Hyde

Oh’ Maybe we can all be free to dream

Ah’ Then again maybe we will all just scream
