Poem by: SavvyApple

Summary

You moved away from me, and even though I know you're not coming by... I'd like to ask why.

Miles and miles,
street lights and fields away,
you don't need to be
that far,
'cause I'm still
right here,
but you're not
anymore.

Where are you going?
Where did you go?
When will you come back?
Somewhere
Nowhere
Never.

Why are you going?
Why did you go?
Why don't you come back?
Because I need too.
Because I had too.
Because I can't.

Can't you stay?
Don't leave me behind.
Why are you going
that far?
No
I have too
I need too.

But I loved you,
you know that?
But I wanted you,
didn't you know?
I know,
yes, I knew,
and I loved you too.

Then tell me,
why are you going
that far?
