She walk’s down the street wearing her hijab .

A sheild that protect’s her from evil.

She wear’s it with pride not caring the judgement of other’s.

For the the only judgement she fear’s .

Is the one from the all mighty Allah.

She doe’s not plaster her face with ten pound’s of make-up . Nor doe’s she blind her eye’s with thick layers of mascera .

People call her names rag head, ninja, nun.

Little do they know how little their comment’s mean to her.

Some say it was not her chioce.

Other’s believe that her family forced her to wear hijab.

Little do they know that we all have a choice .

People look and stare as she walk’s by .

But she doe’s not care the look’s she recieves.

Instead she walk’s with her head up high.

Not bothering to hide the pride in her eye’s.

She does not lower her gaze when she catche’s t them stare.

But instead of a glare she give’s them a smile.
