I have depression, and it has been kicking in a lot lately but I'm working through it with my writing. I've been inspired by Poe for many years so this is my tribute to his memory. Please Enjoy "A Poem of Forevermore".

lightest moonbeam, shining star

no one seemed to know who you are

beautiful face, hidden sorrow

dreaming of a better tomorrow

I found you there, in the night

by the gazebo in the pale moon's light

I was entranced by your softened eyes

so I buried my own silent cries

and stood by you forevermore

my heart did cry "forevermore"

our tears mingled forevermore

as we laid together

under brilliant moonlight

sleep, perfect one, forevermore

Soon I'll wake you, and I'll say

Our time is done, no longer we'll stay

we'll go to the gazebo just before dawn

shift intoa sunbeam and be gone

fade away forevermore

We don't feel sorrow anymore

A beautiful raven cries "Evermore!"

Because we're together now,forevermore
