This is one of my first attempts at poetry. I could always rhyme, but the hidden meanings and the non-rhyming poems have been a little tougher for me, but I will keep trying.

Ampersand, you are so grand,

& always offer, a helping hand,

You help bring words, that belong together,

You & I, are birds of a feather,

I never knew, your real name,

Or why or whence, you first came,

You fit real fine, as I can tell,

You list things in order, all too well,

I use you often, & when I can,

I am & will be, forever a fan,

I will spread your name, throughout this land,

You cute little squiggle, you Ampersand.
