What a crazy country
What crazy Jazz is this
Beautiful skylines beautiful faces
Pardon me, I mean beautiful facials
The quiet adolescent secluded in corners
Is pretty in the shade of anonymity
Lost without a map
As America hurries to burn its doorsteps as they approach

Pretty white muscles leading beautiful ethnic collage
Into oblivion, with their sunglasses burning
With their convertibles burning
With their fashion burning
With everything burning in California
While a Buddhist searches for his inner peace
An American is struggling with her makeup
He is struggling with his six pack
They are on fire on Hollywood boulevard

My my what a crazy beat
Racist, but fighting racism
Fascist, yet fighting fascism
Hypocritical and overbearing
Yet its always for a “good cause”
Unjust and immoral
Yet always opportunistic
America is all these crazy things
Maybe that’s why I cant look away
