Dedicated to my little brother Christopher.

Little kids wearing big coats: A phenomena not even good literature can fully capture.

The way he looks back and waves to me while still walking forward into the school playground… Indescribable.

He is the kid that tosses his baseball-mitt up in the air over and over again in the outfield because his team is already winning by nine points in the bottom of the first inning.

He is the kid that hits a homerun off of a grounder to second base, sprinting around all of the bases amongst laughter of parents.

He is the kid that is tackling everybody at mat club when they are supposed to be running in a circle.

He gets more joy out of little things in life than I do in my objectives that are publicly deemed “important”.

He’s the five year old whose brain is categorized as undeveloped although he is the one telling his dad and I what the score of last week’s football game was, or the week before that, or the week before that.

Remembering all thirty two NFL teams is something most adults can’t do but by age five he is able to name them off in a swift fashion.

He's the little guy that lives at one-forth of my age.

He is the one I envy most.
