I have to say my final word,

A wonderful time with my beautiful bird.
The times we had, they were so so good,
Memories I'll keep like you also should.
Don't be angry, because I wrote again,
In some ways for me it eases the pain.
It helps to think with you I stay fresh,
Maybe soon jwe can meet in the flesh
I miss you so badly the days we met,
Now every Saturday just full of regret.
I had to let you see the results, for me,
I hope yours were good, I pray they be.
We will move on and go separate ways,
Hopefully the future holds better days.
The rift between us grows greater I know,
Accept my apologies and go with the flow.
You felt scared when I came round to see,
You know I'm not psycho, you know me.
I never raised my voice to you at all,
Just an argument we had that made us fall.
I didn't want it, you must see that by now,
Fightings not me, I hate having a row.
I never lied or gave you disrespect,
I tried through James, what did you expect?
You closed all contact, I had no choice,
But he knows nothing, was only my voice.
I raised no hands or looked at another girl,
You were my one,you made my heart twirl.
Stories and poems I write in you name,
The things that you said, I'm only to blame.
I tried so hard, what I thought was right,
To fix it,just then, but I was not so bright.
That was your job, to keep me in line,
Be there so true and always be mine.
That was the plan, only to get better,
So I set all that out to you in my letter.
Only bad parts you saw, put it in the bin,
Never saw all the good I said from within
I just wanted smiles and to make you happy,
With any such luck also change the odd nappy.
Hopefully you hear what I say from the heart,
I was all about us not a lazy bloody fart!
Now I must go, since you have gone free,
Fly away birdy I think that's all from me.
