The Olympic Games Story: Pole Vault

Jake was a very nervous boy. He was competing in the Beijing 2008 Olympic games. He was doing Pole Vault. Jake had to get over the pole to win a Gold medal. No one had gotten over the pole. “Billy commentating here! Jake must get over the pole for the Australians!” Said Billy the commentator in a very exciting voice. Jake ran, he ran and ran. He put down the stick and jumped his all mighty highest. He was absolutely flying through the air! He… HAD GOTTEN OVER THE POLE! The Australians were cheering; his coach ran up to him and gave Jake a big hug. Even the commentator was screaming over and over again, “JAKE IS A CHAMPION TO THE AUSSIES!!”
