You.

You are the reason for my pain,

The reason behind my suffering,

You told me I had nothing to gain.

You left me bleeding.

I listened to your callous words,

I believed them with every fibre.

I thought I was the ugliest of birds,

If only all my sorrow weren’t cyber.

Why?

Why did you leave it until I was home?

All alone you attacked online.

Why did I let that blade roam?

For my veins it made a beeline.

Because...

Because you all had to attack,

What did I do to you?

Did my silence offend and earn a smack?

Did my tears anger you too?

Now...

Now I’m left with scars from your mental abuse,

I could hurt me more than you could.

The cuts weren’t enough you needed a bruise.

To mark your victory under my hood.

The irony....

Today you wrote love on your wrist,

For suicide awareness you wore yellow.

But here is the twist,

The suicides you personally caused bellow.

They’re Screaming in your head... for us? Don’t you wear yellow.
