A paladin fights many bandits on a quest to deliver a mysterious sack to his destination. This was a test to see how well I could structure a fight scene in writing.

The crimson sun gleamed over the horizon. A man in white paladin armor was running across a field. He was gasping for breath, but he kept running with determination. He had a sealed sack on his back that was not damaged in the slightest. However, his armor was battered with many dents and scratches.
A group of bandits wearing red cloaks cut him off. A man who seemed like a leader took off his hood. He had slicked back hair and a vicious smile. "Give us the bag," he demanded, "and you won't get hurt. The paladin seemed irritated. With a flick of his left hand, he summoned a lance. He didn't speak to the bandits.
Two expendable bandits lunged toward him with swords drawn. One was attacking from nine o'clock; the other attacked from one o'clock. He lunged his lance at the one coming from the left. He striked the bandits knee which caused him to stumble. He quickly swung his lance around to the one coming from the north. The lance pierced the bandit in the chest, making a hole in his lung. With incredible strength, the paladin shoved the bandit on the lance into another.
The largest bandit left the leader's side and charged at the paladin. The muscle drew two war axes from his belt. The paladin dodged his first swing, but the second hit him in the shoulder. The muscle seemed to have a grin on his face, but it soon disappeared when he realized he hadn't even pierced the paladin's armor. The paladin rammed the butt of his lance into the muscle's stomach. He was stunned for a second, but he quickly recovered, swinging twice more at the paladin.
Both swings missed by a hair. The paladin pierced the muscle's skull, and let him drop to the ground. The leader looked at the paladin with a smile. His smile turned into a chuckle, and his chuckle soon turned into laughter. "My, my," he boasted, "I'm going to have a lot more fun out of this than I thought I would."
With lightning speed, he drew his gun and fired six hot bullets at the paladin. All the shots had hit, but none of them pierced his armor. None of the bullets piercing his armor caused the leader to be stunned from shock. It was only a fraction of a second, but it was enough time for the paladin to make his move. He hurled his lance toward the leader, and it ripped through the leader's stomach.
The paladin slowly approached the leader to retrieve his lance. Gasping for air, the leader looked up at the paladin. "Well, could you at least tell a poor soul what's inside?" he asked. The paladin hesitantly said, "Nothin' but a bunch of hope." The leader laughed quietly and died faster than the bullets he shot. With a flick of the paladin's left hand, the lance disappeared. The paladin then continued toward his destination.
