can silence be sad

can water shiver with dread

can woods whisper of the dead

can death scream of lonely nights and cold beds

can the wind hate and fear

like the coyotes howl sharp and near

can a melancholy sigh be a color?
a shade of gray

Am i blind if i can only see you

or can i truly see

Can music dance with side walk leafs

as theirchatter sings you to sleep

colors change and shine

metals dime in the heat of time

shift sweet lace in a far off windy place

do you know that colors grow?

At a rapid pace in the darkest of place

Swing me around the silver covered ground

to the bells of melancholy sound
