I've been writing poetry for as long as I can remember. Yes it's depressing and I don't know why I write it but I do and it's just my thing.

My greatest fear is emotion

It is also my greatest joy to,

but the fear of hurt is deep like the ocean

vast and blue and no one there to rescue you

What if my emotiond get to deep?

Can I still stop the caring?

but if I do will I ever weep

or be able to hide from the truth glaring?

For what use is hate

When there is no love

for that numbnesses bait

to keep you coved as snug as a leather glove

Maybe in the numbness you'll be fine

living from day to day knowing your safe

but when do you know you've crossed the line

When you've become a ghost a wafe?

No my greatest fear is what is hiding here

How long has it really been

Since I felt loves sear a week or a year

No, no my fear is Ive been numb so long I'll never feel

again
