"There's no way that really happened." Samantha, our oldest child commented on the story Kyle and I just told. "It really happened." Kyle said. "Here's proof." He pulled up his sleeve and showed his long scar before pointing to the small mark on my cheek. "Mommy, Daddy, did it hurt?" Paul, our youngest asked us. "This might have hurt. But it hurt more not knowing where your mom was or if she was okay." Kyle said smiling at me and pointing at his scar. I rolled my eyes at him. Back then who would have thought that Kyle and I would be sitting here now telling our story to our two children and married. I didn't even think I was going to make it out alive, forget alive and with the guy that had been in front of me all my life but I was to blind to see. Let me just tell you that I never want to relive that in dreams or anything but stories with Kyle by my side. "Aunty Bailey! Uncle Kyle!" Yelled Miranda and Riley, Ryan's kids, running in to tackle us both in hugs. I laughed "Hey." I said to them and waved at my brother. "Telling them the story huh?" He guessed. I nodded, "How did you know?" "You gave me a key to this place so I got in and Lindsey, the girls and I were standing here listening to the end." I smiled. "You better not be braking into my house all the time now Ryan." He pushed me. "Sure." He said sarcasticly. Life was so weird now, but I loved it. If I could go back in time I wouldn't have done it any other way.
