Another one of those things about wanting to withdraw from the stupid humans (because, let's face it, earth is FAIRLY messed up) but at the same time knowing that it would be equally stupid to withdraw.

My face is set
In stone,
In stone
My eyes I don’t let
Alone,
Alone
The words come thickly
Words come thickly
And silence quickly

Silence quickly
Takes its hold
On me,
On me
It leaves me cold
And free
And free?
And leaves me to die
Leaves me to die
Fulfils asylum cries

Asylum cries
To run away
And fly,
And fly
For when I stay
I cry,
I cry
Burnt like an ember
Like an ember
And so much harder

So much harder
To keep hanging on
And live,
And live
And wait for dawn
And grieve,
But have peace.
