A warm summers night
Poem by: Selena Stars
It was so warm that summers night, but I was so cold because of fright
I could not bare to see the light, even on that warm summers night
I waited until I could wait no more, waiting ended up feeling like a chore
I waited until the last second, but then even the water started to beckon
I wanted to live but my life was cut short, because of that night along the sea shore
now I watch from the shadows, and now others seam to think I am shallow
It is their fault that I am like this today, I'll wait for them as long as I can and pray
That the day I died will be the last day, of there silly jokes and not so funny laughs
They pushed me in that warm summers night, when my heart was filled completly with fright
The day that I learn to love with be the day that they all go above to place were this all began
On a warming summers day.
