In darkness and sadness, there is always gloom. A place of uncertainty, a black unlit room. To open your eyes and feel what is there, not being unfeeling, to yourself so unfair. To embrace all that sadness, to let it all in. It is not such badness, to allow it to win. Open you eyes, your heart and your soul. Shatter from inside, becoming unwhole. Break and crumble, fall and cry, but know that in ending, you will not die. The time for undoing, should not be our choice. The pain and the sorrow, it gives us a voice. There are others among us, who feel in shattered words, whose hearts are blackened and wish to be free as birds. Our experiences. Our pain. Our forever conflicted souls. They are ours, and ours alone, and in life we pay our tolls. But, in this pain and agony, there is something to be gained. The connectivity to those others. Those others who are the same.
