Willow was once a small little girl

With beautiful jade eyes and silky black curls

Who loved everyone and cared gor everything

As if she were a princess and Daddy, the king.

But then, Willow turned thirteen

She grew from cute princess to devilish fiend

Always wore black and hid from the world

Oh, what happened to that innocent girl?

Mommy doesn’t notice, Daddy doesn’t care

Instead of love she feels only despair

And that is why she drags the knife down

Because that’s the only emotion she’s found.

The only time she can feel is when her blood is on the floor

Innocent Willow, well, she doesn’t exist anymore.

Aww, I feel so bad for her! :( AN it reminds me of the wonderful poem "Richard Cory." Nice one! :)

I loved the way you presented this poem. Liked the spot on imagery. Passive objective/subjective structure. Very nice job!
