This poem was actually a request from a comment from my other poem 'Girl of Perfection'. I was in a really dark place when my girlfriend had found me. She was a friend of my ex, but she had a soft spot for me. It was last Christmas that she took away all the pain that I had inside. I'm blessed to have met her and I very much love her with all my heart.

My love....

For so long,

We've been singing the same love song

I don't want to escape this love

Walking under the same dove

When you found me

You stopped what I could be

Ended my agony

Led me to your sweet amnesty

You lit up my world

My heart had finally unfurled

Your fun personality

Brought about the scars' fatality

I was dead inside

My heart and soul had died

You brought me to life

Gave me back my strife

Outside, no one else could see

Inside, you saw what was me

Ended my torture

You heart is all azure

Your eyes, your smile

Suffering was worthwhile

Your voice, your heart

We were never apart

Never had I felt like this

Slaughtered the darkness with our first kiss

No more I suffer

My heart is buffer

Nothing can show to how much I love you

Our life, our love, we both that it was true
