Wise Old Man

How many roads have you walked alone on
Losing the love that others would count on
Turning your back, wishing all would just be gone
Losing the faith that has kept you so strong

A wise old man with a message to tell
About sorrow and hate, how they don't mix too well
How they'll take take a toll right out of your life's bell
And send you down to the deepest holes of hell

Now is the time to raise up your sword
Do not be inclined to complain
Stay up and smile, don't go down anymore

Fight for your heart
Don't let it go down in flames
Pray for your heart
Don't let it go down again

Glory be to God,

Servanthood
