A lost connection along the way

How much I wanted you to stay

You took a different road

Now it seems we’re talking in Morse code

You did something that’s never been done

Brightened my midnight sun

Gave life to my split heart

But we never got a fair start

Signals never gave us a chance

Putting me into a failing trance

You had me at first glance

But it seems I’ll never be able to give you my life dance

You wrote me out of you’re transmission

Shot down my admission

Gave me a single beat

But it wasn’t worth it for you to leap

Answering me is what I desperately need

While I slowly bleed

Trying to repair my lifeline any way I can

But it seems now I’ve become a blind man
