You broke my watch today

The one that costs more than a car

You come to me and sorry you say

But from the look on my face you can tell I’m far

You broke my watch today

The one that costs more than most make in a month

You’ll pay for the repairs you say

But we both know that they will take months

You broke my watch today

The first one I ever bought

It was an accident you say

All my work now all for naught

You broke my watch today

The classic they don’t make anymore

You tell me they will fix it some way

The damage done by the floor

You broke my watch today

I find it hard not shed any tears

Fuck is the first word I say

Because mind is filling with fear

You broke my watch today

But you’re my brother, so it’s okay
