I'm living in a masquerade.

With a mask upon my face.

I hide myself and my feelings.

I act like something that I'm not.

People never judge me on who I am.

They just look at me from the outside.

Never worry about how I am inside

How did I get this way.

Looking at life from the inside of a mask.

Pretending to be someone that I'm not.

I hide the real me.

Trying to live in these lies.

I know they can't see the tear's I cry.

Why do I need a mask

Why must I hide behind someone I will never be.

Let me just take if off and show you.

Who I want to be.
