Walking through the heat of life.

Lava Ground

Focused on my destination, I prosper through the fire.
Burnt legs balance on scolded feet, as I wade through the destruction of life’s explosion.
Smoke engulfs the finishing line, swirling clouds of dust settle.
Vicious waters expelled from the interior, flowing rivers at 7000 degrees.
Fishes dance in boiling lakes whilst feathers float on a molten surface.
Slow flowing puddles; block my path, Cogs of heat, Resisting Pressure.
Gas entrapped, Oxygen Scarce, Bubbling gasses replacing Dioxide.
Trapped inside a cage of heat,
My ashes fly,
Lava Ground.
