Life's Similes/Metaphors #4

Poem by: SGBanks

Summary

In this poem I make a unique comparison to people and rocks... weird it may sound but makes for an interesting poem in the end

Life's Similies/Metaphors #4

I am a rock...

Bad times may weather me down

To the point I am gravel

Then erode me

To where I am nothing but a pebble

Bad times never last, solid rocks do

For good times will come and compact me

And uplift me to the rock that I was and will foever be

Yet this time...

I'm stronger, harder, and rougher

With a soul more solid than ever
