Life's Similies/Metaphors #5

I am a rock...

Wish I could be igneous to the ignorance, but

If my haters want to throw dirt on my name

By all means make me sedimentary to the rumors

If hard times bring the heat and the pressure

Make me metamorphic to the challenges

Once other rocks get the picture and things cool

I'll be my old igneous self again

Though the cycle is a hoola hoop

It goes round and round

And just like life....It never stops
