Plummeting…down, down, down….

It’s the tumble

The Merry Go Round life

Spikes and needles fracture my brain

Further away from being sane

And I’m sinking

Sinking into depression

Gravity too high

I rocket to the bottom of a cup

three quarters empty

Emersed in ice-cold water

‘Cos I’m tired of time

Tired of this town

Yet my friends are so full of life

like wild bluebells in spring

Pulling me further under this ocean,

This deep sea,

Plummeting, lost,

Translated pressures

I hear moody blues hummed by a saxophone

And I ponder

Have the stars decided that I will fall?

Or is it myself I’m fighting?

Stuck in a kind of purgatory

Still I’m left to pause and wonder

Is this nightmare my mind

Or reality?

True or false?

Maybe you can help me figure it out…
